Is Jumpstart VIEW only available to the Virginia Department of Social Services?

No. However, the program was initially developed for Virginia Department of Social Services participants enrolled in Virginia Initiative for Education and Work (VIEW) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education & Training (SNAP E&T) programs.
Can other workforce agencies participate in the Jumpstart training program?

Yes, we have expanded our services to support other workforce agencies and their program participants. Simply, submit an inquiry and we will contact you to discuss your agency’s training needs.
How long is the Jumpstart VIEW program?

The program is a two-week accelerated “bootcamp style” training designed to help Jumpstart participants into their next employment activity and service plan.

Program participants do not incur any ‘personal’ cost. The participant training and enrollment cost is covered by the referring state agency.
